On air roundtable
« on: November 25, 2013, 03:39:54 PM »
Now that it's winter, and everyone is back inside and away from their gardens, anyone want to try and hop on the air and have a roundtable. Some us really need to catch up!

What time and day works for most?

When ever the wife is not home. Working out of the house now, so daytime, depending on the day and some evenings when she is at church.
The only dumb question is the one that did not get asked!!

I propose a Prepared Ham net, Wed. at 8 eastern. 4196 or 3996 depending on band conditions. Suggestions? Anyone in? I'll even be the first net controller if no one else wants to.

I'm interested, but not so sure what the conditions will allow me to do anywhere near your QTHs.  I can operate on 6, 10, 15, 20, and 40.  I can listen in anywhere, so please keep me up to speed.

I think 40m is our best bet for evening anyways. I think most people have that.

Anyone want to shoot for next wednesday the 4th?

I can't figure out what band that is,
is it between the 60M and 40M bands ?
are there units on the 4196 and 3996 ?

Ooooops! Meant 7196 and 3996. I'm good for the 4th. Actually, I'll give it a go tonight and see if anything happens. Add 14.326 as well and I'll try on all 3......
I'll also work NVIS for the SC crowd.

When are you off?  I want to head down as soon as I get there.  My flight out on Fri leaves ~5pm. I should get back to Atl by about noon ish.

I'll be there.  Down in coastal MS, between New Orleans & Mobile.  I'm running a 40/80 NVIS.  SC's a stretch, but I've worked it before.  I'll see you on 7196 and 3996.
