so I have a Yaesu VX-7R that has the DC voltage display about 0.3V below the actual voltage,
it use to work perfect, but a few years ago I went into some service menu sort of thing and it recalibrated itself because the battery voltage was not 8.3V when I did it.
(guess it could have been a dream I remember, but I am pretty sure it actually happened)
I have been trying to figure out where that menu is but can't find it,
it is not in the standard service menu where you can change the power levels, S meter calibration, and things like that,
does anyone know where that menu is ? I have searched everything I can find on the web and just can't find it.

I will see if I can find something on it.

I will see if I can find something on it.
I did a quick google and could not find any mention of this issue.
If you find anything please post it because I'm curious myself.

I read through the service manual and the owners manual and did not find anything specificly on the the adjusting of the battery voltage offset.
I will kepp looking.

I read everything I could and could not find it
could be that it is not a changeable setting
I even put mine in european mode to see if its service menu had it then...
tried about everything I could think of.
the altimeter is correct, as well as the temperature, so it would appear not to be a reference voltage issue
could be I just have to live with this thing being broken.
maybe a sticker on the back with a quick reference offset table...

Did you try a complete reset to default factory settings? (I've cured a couple problems that way, start over from scratch.)

yes, tried that twice. was actually the first thing I tried.
