OK, you're good to go then.  If that cue in the Jan 14 post doesn't work, let me know and I'll see if I can figure out a different way around it.  There is always USPS.

Adinfo from
https://www.fcc.gov/wireless/guideshelp/common-filing-tasks/common-filing-task-renewing-license

"You may receive a license expiration notification from an entity, but you are not required to use its services. File for renewal 30-60 days, but no more than 90 days, before your license expiration date. 47 CFR Section 97.21, provides that when your application for renewal has been received by the FCC on or before the license expiration date, your operating authority is continued until the final disposition of your application. If your license expires, you may apply for renewal of the license for another term during a two-year filing grace period. The application document must be received by the FCC on or before the end of the grace period. Unless and until the license is renewed, no amateur operator or station operating privileges are conferred. Applications received after the grace period has ended cannot be granted."

Makes no difference if vanity or normal, limbo is two years before it can be reissued.  There are some rules on renewal, and I do not know what they are.  Easy enough to dig out from the FCC site.

Drago

Is it expired or expiring?  If its up at the end of the month, it goes into limbo for 2 years before someone can grab it if its a vanity call.

Try this -
Steps to Filing a Request to Renew a License in ULS

Log in to ULS Online Filing with your FCC Registration Number (FRN) and password. ...
On the left-side of the screen, click Renew Licenses.
Select the licenses and Click Add.
Click Continue to navigate through the application.

Your FRN is on your certificate (mine is lower left, called "file number") if you've lost any other trace of it.  Dunno what to tell you if the password has flown the coop.

I think with the government shut down the way it is Iíll just send in this card thatís post dated now.  That way when and if it reopens it will show that I tried to renew it before the due date.

I thought it was in spring time.
setting the new year in the middle of winter always seemed wrong to me,
just like starting the day at midnight, it is all wrong, the new day should start at sunrise, or maybe 6AM if you need a number for it.
CNY varies a bit, depending on the lunar cycle.  This year, it's Feb 5.  But yeah, midnight is silly in my mind, noon would make better sense to me.
